We had one of Snowstorm’s first offspring, our incredible Trueheart's Adagia who is now in our foundation herd. So when we spied the opportunity to purchase this spectacular male, we seized it. We’re proud to offer Snowstorm’s services in Colorado in partnership with Pamela Ray of Xanadu Farm Alpacas. He brings the genetics of Snowmaster, Hemingway, and El Moustachio and has shown a strong ability to pass the color of the dam, including black.
Snowstorm is the son of Snowmass Messiah, restricted herdsire at Cas-Cad-Nac Farm, and the grandson of Peruvian Snowmaster. His dam, Juliana, is the mom of EastWind’s Andino, the 2001 AOBA Nationals White Color Champion.
Take a look at what has been said about Snowstorm:
"Fineness, crimp, density, uniformity, coverage, excellent conformation, and a beautiful head. This alpaca is the TOTAL PACKAGE." Those were the words of Dr. Julio Sumar (Peru), one of the most highly respected alpaca judges in North and South America, when he was awarding Snowstorm his first blue ribbon.
"I can't say enough good things about this alpaca." -Jill McLeod, when she awarded his first Champion ribbon.
"This is the best male alpaca I have seen in this country" -Ian Watt
